The U.S. FDA issued a safety alert to warn consumers about the serious injuries and disfigurement that can result from using injectable silicone or illegal injectables for the purpose of enhancing the size of their buttocks, breasts and other body parts. “Transback mission is to assist transgender individuals that are affected by adverse reactions from these illegal injectables and as a result can't afford the extremely high cost for removal of toxins. Oftentimes irreversible disfigurement and even death occurs. Serious complications may occur right away or could develop weeks, months, or years later.
Hormone therapy
When a trans person detransitions, hormone therapy is often necessary to gradually reverse the physical changes brought on by previous gender-affirming hormone therapy, helping their body to more closely align with their sex assigned at birth and potentially alleviate any discomfort or distress related to those changes in their physical appearance and bodily functions.
Transback mission is to cover the cost for the expensive but necessary hormone therapy. This support makes detransitioning much more attainable .
Cosmetic surgery
